Our Initiatives
Key Bridge Marriott (Ongoing)
The Key Bridge Marriott at 1401 Langston Boulevard has experienced a dramatic transformation from ambitious redevelopment project to public safety concern requiring county intervention.
Addressing Homelessness
The North Rosslyn Civic Association (NRCA) is dedicated to creating a supportive community while helping our most vulnerable neighbors. Our comprehensive approach combines direct services, strategic partnerships, and community engagement to address homelessness.
One Rosslyn
The North Rosslyn Civic Association (NRCA) continues to champion our neighborhood's future through active engagement with the One Rosslyn development project. We're proud to support this transformative initiative that promises to bring much-needed residential units and community benefits to our area.
Supporting Smart Development
The North Rosslyn Civic Association (NRCA) is actively working with Arlington County to ensure thoughtful development in our community. Through our participation in the County's Site Plan Review Committee process, we've taken a clear stance on the proposed One Rosslyn development project.
Our Transportation Future
The North Rosslyn Civic Association (NRCA) is actively fighting a concerning proposal from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) that threatens our community's future. VDOT wants to widen I-495 from Springfield to Oxon Hill and expand privately operated toll lanes using land originally set aside for Metro expansion.
Crestmont Apartments Redevelopment
The North Rosslyn Civic Association (NRCA) is actively advocating for meaningful development in our neighborhood, and we're excited to share our strong support for the Crestmont Apartments redevelopment project.
Zoning Variations
The North Rosslyn Civic Association (NRCA) is working to address serious concerns about cell tower installations in our neighborhood, specifically at 1101 19th Street (Potomac Tower). Our community was left out of critical decision-making processes that directly impact our daily lives.
The View & CoStar
The North Rosslyn Civic Association (NRCA) recently took action to ensure our community benefits from major development changes in our neighborhood. When CoStar Group proposed changes to their Central Place Tower, including closing public access to the observation deck, we worked to secure meaningful community benefits.
